Hi there!:) Its great to e-meet you. I am currently a Psychology student who loves listening to others' stories. I feel that through listening, we get a better understanding of who someone is in a novel way: We can hear their perspective, their interpretation and their understanding of both the world and themselves. I would love to experience this with you.

So a little more about me, grief has been a familiar concept to me since young. Throughout my life, it has mostly been my mom and I. My biological father passed away when I was in primary school and my step father passed away recently. However, till this day, I find myself learning something new about grief, my grief. I learnt that to grieve is a journey: a journey for the rest of your life, rather than a phase you are expected to get over.

Everyone grieves differently because we are all different people: Different people with different emotions. Ever heard of the five stages of grief? Even though its a good theory to fall back on, it still fails to explain how each individual experiences grief. Often when we grieve, we feel that there is a timeline we should follow: Stop crying by the third day, get back to school or work by the first week and being back to normal by the 6th month. However, this feeling cannot be planned.

Grief does not necessarily mean losing a loved one to death. Grief could be any loss. I can be that listening ear for you if you are experiencing grief or any other troubles. I aim to provide a comfortable environment where you will not be judged. Think of it as a way to lighten the load on your shoulders.
