"A path is made by walking on it..." Zhuangzi We want (and should) expect Life to take us on unexpected detours. Mine occurred 10 years ago after an inspired evening at a karaoke pub in the traditional onsen village of Nozawa Onsen, Nagano in the Japanese alps. The combination of sake, snow and my new Australian friend conspired to convince me that I too should run a ski lodge in this beautiful and very traditional Japanese village as well. Well fast forward 10 years and I’m here to share my adventures with you. I'm Leo Tan - conventionally schooled in Singapore, then a less than scintillating time in university, took the career escalator to (then) lofty levels... and well, potentially be your typical high achieving Singaporean...but that's another story.. After a few sliding doors, now I live winters in Nozawa Onsen in Japan, enjoy spring in the Margaret River wine region in Western Australia, learning farrow to finish, tending to my geese and ducks and dreaming shinrin-yoku.. Talk to me if you ever wanted an unconventional mind to talk to, or if you're interested in doing some work for free boarding at my ski lodge (fair trade). Bookings are shown only for the next 30 days. An advance booking of 2 days prior to the session is required. Hear bud appointments may still be subject to change and cancellations depending on our volunteers. The admin team will email you to reschedule if the hear bud is not available. Cancellations: Do let our Hear Buds know in advance by emailing hearbuds.iash@gmail.com No-shows: Our Hear Buds will leave the call after 10 mins if you don't show up. We'll need an email verification from you if you wish to book again after a no-show.
