𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿: We are a community led peer support group for LGBTQIA+ identifying people, family, friends & allies. If you're someone who shares this experience with us, come join in the conversations on: 💙 Sharing your individual challenges 💙 Self-acceptance, coming out, estrangement and other topics 💙Meet and support others in this community too Our aim is to provide a free & confidential space to discuss openly our unique struggles as LGBTQIA+ identifying people and how our Allies, friends & family can better support us. 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗱𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀: 2:00 to 4:30 PM Location is at iash.sg - Block 226 Bishan Street 23 S570226 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁: Do try to come on time. Feel free to use aliases you’ve been workshopping on the event sign-up and during the event itself (we'll be using nametags) Make friends with likeminded folks and chill in the air-conditioned room. 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲: We’ll gather at 2:15 pm for introductions & Da rules. Then we'll start the discussion in this empathy circles. Feel free to ask questions and share your experiences and, if requested, your advice from your personal experiences too. We’re all on different journeys and have gone through different hardships. So do be mindful to keep comments and questions respectful and free from judgement. You’re always welcome to just observe too. Sharing is 𝗻𝗼𝘁 compulsory. We will pause at the midway point if we need to refocus the conversation or allow those who have not yet had a chance to speak or share. There will be a chance to follow up and offer support to each other before we wrap up the session and pack up. Feel free to hang around and chat with one another after the session until we’re ready to lock up. Every session will highlight different issues base on the topics brought up by the group.
