About this session :)

Becoming a mother is a journey like no other — beautiful, messy, overwhelming, and deeply emotional. Whether you’re in the thick of sleepless nights, adjusting to a new identity, or quietly grieving the “you” before motherhood… this space is for you. This is a monthly gathering for mothers and mothers-to-be — a soft landing place to pause, connect, and be gently held. There’s no pressure to have it all figured out. Just come as you are. 𝗪𝗲’𝗹𝗹 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲: “What’s been feeling heavy lately?” “What do you miss about the ‘before’ version of you?” “What part of your journey feels most tender right now?” 𝗘𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝘀: A safe space to speak freely and be met with compassion Permission to feel it all: grief, rage, joy, confusion — all parts are welcome A reminder that you are not alone 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘀 𝘄𝗲’𝗹𝗹 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗲: The mental load of motherhood Maternal rage, guilt, and intrusive thoughts Relationship shifts and identity loss Longing for support and connection 𝗦𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲: 2-hour monthly gatherings (in-person or online, depending on group preference) We’ll share, reflect and close with a grounding ritual — think soft check-ins, guided meditations, poetry that resonates and simply a space to reconnect with yourself and others who are on the journey too. Facilitated by Lin & Nina, therapists at IASH and fellow mothers walking their own parenting paths. They’re not here as experts — just as two mums who deeply believe in the power of connection and compassion. 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗿𝘂𝗹𝗲𝘀? 𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮 𝗳𝗲𝘄: Confidentiality, non-judgment, kindness — and always permission to pass if you prefer just listening. You don’t have to walk this path alone. Come exhale with us!
