Hi, I'm Penny.

Hi, I am Penny, an IASH.sg counsellor in training :)

Many people come to counselling because they have been carrying a lot on their own for a long time. My journey into counselling was shaped by my own experiences with emotional overwhelm, relationship challenges, and periods of uncertainty about myself and my direction.
Before training as a counsellor, I spent many years in a creative field. While meaningful, it also came with stress, burnout, and the pressure of trying to meet expectations. These experiences help me sit with clients who feel tired, stuck, or unsure, especially during times of change, without rushing them or needing them to explain themselves.
It’s okay.
You do not need to have clear goals or the right words to begin counselling. If you are feeling overwhelmed, uncertain, or simply in need of a space where you can be yourself, you are welcome here. Through therapy and training, I learnt how healing it can be to feel truly heard and accepted—and that is the kind of space I hope to offer you.
What to expect in sessions
Counselling sessions with me are calm, supportive, and guided by what feels most important to you in the moment. Some sessions may involve talking through your thoughts and experiences, while others may focus more on emotions, patterns, or gently exploring different parts of yourself. There is no pressure to share more than you are ready to. We move at your pace, and you are always in control of what we explore together.
