Hi, I'm Han.

I’m Jedidiah Han Khng, a Counsellor in Training at IASH.SG.

Since secondary school, I have known that I wanted to pursue a career in counselling. However, it was only in 2021 that I took my first step into the social service sector, working closely with low-income families as a caseworker. Today, I serve as a youth mentor and am pursuing my Master in Counselling with Flinders University. I hold a strong passion for supporting youths and young families, and I have a growing interest in the mental well-being of Asian men—many of whom may struggle quietly under cultural expectations of strength and restraint.
I am grateful for the opportunity to journey with you through the challenges you face. My hope is to offer a safe, non-judgmental space where you can bring your full self, including the parts that may feel unseen or difficult to express. I believe in meeting you with kindness, empathy, and respect as we work together toward renewed hope and clarity. My own journey has not been without struggle, and I recognise that growth often happens through connection and support. You don’t have to go through this alone.
At the heart of my counselling practice is Person-Centred Therapy (PCT), which guides how I connect, listen, and respond. Depending on your needs, I may also draw upon Reality Therapy and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to support practical change and strengthen self-agency. Together, we will explore not just the challenges, but also the strengths, hopes, and values that shape who you are, and where you wish to go.
