Hello, I’m June — a Counsellor-in-Training at IASH.SG.

My counselling journey began with a desire to better understand myself and to provide the non-judgmental and compassionate presence I once longed for in my own earlier years. I recognise that healing is an ongoing process, and through my own journey, I have come to understand the profound impact of unresolved trauma. This personal insight strengthens my empathy and informs my work with anyone feeling anxious, distressed, or simply “stuck” in their current circumstances.

Born and raised in Singapore, and having lived abroad for over a decade across China, Europe, and the United States, my international experiences have shaped me to be culturally sensitive and deeply attuned to working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and social contexts.

My Approach

I practise authentically and mindfully, taking a person-centred and integrative approach to therapy. Depending on your needs, I draw on elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Narrative Therapy, always tailoring the work to your unique story. I hope to work alongside you in a safe and compassionate space that invites self-exploration, deeper insight, and growth.

I believe therapy is for everyone, and that we all possess an inherent capacity to navigate and overcome the challenges we face. I invite you to come exactly as you are.
