Hi, I'm Kate.

Hello there! I’m Kate, Counsellor in Training at IASH.SG.
I’m a Psychology graduate training to be a Counsellor. By adopting a collaborative rather than directive role, I support clients in finding strength within, building their sense of self, and gradually developing their own problem-solving abilities. I see healing as a long, evolving journey—not a quick fix.
My Approach
I lean towards the Person-Centred Therapy (PCT) approach, grounded in empathy, understanding, and unconditional acceptance, helping clients lay the foundation for lasting change. Incorporating Choice Theory, I believe individuals have the freedom and responsibility to make choices aligned with their needs and values. I also draw from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and reframe unhelpful thought patterns.
Above all, I strive to offer a compassionate, non-judgmental presence and create a safe, empowering space for each client to navigate their own healing journey.
