Hey there, I’m Yi Tian :) Growing up, I internalised the belief that emotions were a sign of weakness, that I was too much for others to handle. I struggled to fit in so I learned to suppress what I felt. Over time, this created a disconnect between my body and my emotions. I didn’t know how to name what I was feeling. There were times when emotions felt too big, too messy, too much. Feelings of emptiness, not being good enough became familiar companions. I also wrestled with anxiety and a harsh inner critic But as I embark on my own journey, I’ve come to realize that emotions are not a flaw. They are what make us human. Feeling things deeply is also what allows me to connect with others at a deeper level. While I still struggle with difficult emotions at times, I’ve learned it’s okay to lean into them, rather than push them away. I’m here not as someone who has all the answers, but as a fellow human who understands what it’s like to feel lost, overwhelmed or don’t know where to start. I hope to offer a safe space where you can show up just as you are without judgement or pressure. You deserve the support you need and you don’t have to do it alone.
