Hi, I'm Tina.

Hi! I’m Tina, a registered clinical psychologist.
I know that reaching out for therapy can feel like a big step, especially if you’re used to handling things on your own, or if putting your inner world into words doesn’t come easily. I understand how daunting this can feel, including from my own experience. Please know that you don’t have to have everything figured out before you begin.
What’s it like working with me?
My hope is to be the kind of therapist I would have wanted to meet myself: someone who is patient, approachable, and easy to talk to, where even the more difficult or private parts of your experience can be shared without fear of judgment. Having experienced social anxiety personally, I know how hard it can be to open up to another person. Because of this, I strive to create a space that feels safe, unhurried, and genuinely collaborative.
I also bring close to two decades of experience as a clinical psychologist, having worked with individuals across a wide range of settings. I draw on this experience to support each person in a way that reflects their needs and pace, be it developing practical strategies, making sense of longstanding patterns, or gently working through deeper emotional experiences.
My approach to therapy
Every person comes with their own story, strengths, and challenges, so I believe therapy should be tailored to you rather than trying to fit you into a particular model. To support this, I draw from a range of evidence-based therapies, including:
• Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
• Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT)
• Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
• Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR)
• Internal Family Systems (IFS)
Areas I work with
I've had the privilege of supporting individuals with a wide range of concerns. Some areas I’m particularly interested in include:
• Social anxiety
• Phobias
• Obsessive-compulsive disorder (especially less visible forms of OCD)
• Dissociation
• Gaming and life balance
• Navigating life as an introvert
• Women's sexual concerns
If what you're experiencing isn't listed here, you're still very welcome to reach out.
