Hi, I'm Xue Wei.

I’m Xue Wei, a Counsellor in Training at IASH.SG.

Hello, and a warm welcome to you. I’m so glad you’re here! 🌻
Life is rarely a straight line, and sometimes we just need a safe harbour to pause, breathe, and make sense of it all. I believe that within every challenge lies the seed of growth, and that your experiences deserve to be held with care. My hope is to co-create a gentle, non-judgmental space where you feel truly heard, supported, and empowered to navigate whatever season you are in. 🙂

Why Speak to Me?

Because I have walked the path of uncertainty, too.

Counselling has supported me through different seasons of life, but my path here was truly defined when my life felt like it burned to the ground.

When my long-term relationship ended unexpectedly, I found myself having to rebuild an entirely new life from zero. I left that chapter with no job, not much savings, the loss of my home, and a heavy heart. It wasn’t easy, and it wasn’t immediate.

It took time, it took tears. But through that process, I learned that beauty can be made out of ashes. You can rebuild. You can reclaim. You can renew.

Because I have walked this path and continue to walk it — I know how much courage it takes to take that first step. It can feel vulnerable to begin, but the outcome can be deeply transformational. I am here to offer you the support I found valuable, helping you navigate your own transitions and discover a life of meaning.

I am excited to help others get to the other side, and live a life of passion, joy, and fulfillment. I can’t wait to support you on this journey, and see what’s next for you.

How We Will Work Together
I believe that every individual’s situation is unique, and there is no "one size fits all" in therapy.
-
A Collaborative Approach: I use an integrative counselling approach that is truly collaborative. While I draw upon principles from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), I am flexible and open to exploring other approaches that resonate with you. We will work together to find the tools that best support your journey.

-
Finding Calm: Beyond talk therapy, I believe in the power of staying grounded. Meditation and mindfulness have been invaluable in my own life, and where helpful, we can explore these practices together to cultivate inner peace amidst stress.

-
Writing Your Story: Ultimately, my goal is to empower you to make your own decisions. I offer an empathetic and non-judgmental space for you to write your next chapter.

My experience includes supporting clients through a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, relational challenges, body image struggles, life transitions, workplace challenges, and grief.

A Little About Me
Passionate about food, travel, and meaningful connections, I am constantly on a journey of self-discovery and growth! I believe the little things in life bring the most joy — whether it’s enjoying a good meal, exploring new cultures, going for nature walks, or sharing lighthearted moments with loved ones.

I enjoy seeing the world with a sense of wonder and find happiness in life’s simple pleasures. I am just a fellow traveller in life, learning and growing just like you, and it would be a privilege to walk alongside you on your journey.
